OK so 2 months ago I had KIPO Chevy replace my defective part in my called back car which involved my ignition and 2 new keys. After a month suddenly car will not start, Kipo says its cars Park/neutral switch and has nothing to do with new ignition they put in...stating safety mechanism in car, cuz sometimes car would start if you had the wheel in a good position and the gear was in place, and the key would turn. Yesterday after they replaced park neutral device it still wouldnt start, so now they say starter, so now quote for 175 has gone up to 568 (not to mention 100 bucks i had tp pay to get it towed 2 miles) and still dont know if car will start. A mechanic friend told me these cars with older computers are NOT recognizing these new keys they gave me when replacing recalled ignition switch!! Dealerships dont wanna pay for defective replacement problems....anybody know what I should do....call GM myself ....call a lawyer to go after Gm? Mark Novelli I know you work at Chevy dealership any suggestions? Anyone elses feedback much appreciated, its Christmas and the grinch is at GM!!!!!
