OK, so I took a pretty, wrapped PartyLite jar candle and catalog and I drove up the driveway to the old stone house on Summit Street! Walked up the stairs to the front door and it was ajar. I knocked, looked through the window and someone upstairs motioned me in! I asked if the owner was here they said yes called, Cindy! and sent her downstairs! I introduced myself said I was kind of a nosey neighbor, but what I was really there for was to ask her if I could have some of the Osage oranges that have fallen to the ground! She said, Take them all! I gave her the candle and said it was a peace offering and she thanked me very much! We talked about the restoration they are going through! They are going to live in it and it is not going to be a bed and breakfast! They are working to put it on the National Registry! OMG it will be absolutely gorgeous when it is finished! She said she was going to have a big open house, probably in the spring! I cant wait!
