OK, so I was not going to post this here, because you all create such great things, and this is just a tiny little decoration. :) It was fun to make, and has gotten some good reception on other sites, so I figured I might as well. I got the idea from Pinterest, but there was no tutorial, so I winged it. I know that I did it differently from theirs, but this way works, too. I do need to take some of the flowers out, and space whats left a little better. Its overcrowded right now. I will also spot-glue some black lei flowers here and there to darken it up somewhat; and Im going to put it on a stand in my cemetery. This is a piece of foam pipe insulation cut so that the outer picture frame is mostly obscured, but you can still see the actual picture. Size will depend on the size of the picture that you use. This one is from Dollar Tree. I duct taped the insulation to make a wreath form out of it. I was going to use a pool noodle, but it was too thick, and wouldnt make a small enough wreath to cover the picture well. Then I cut the outer frame off, and stuck the picture inside the form, so that its close to the front. Initially I taped the form over it, and it was set too far back for my taste. I used Dollar Tree flowers, but the original Pin looked like it used fall garland wrapped around a wire wreath form. I cut each flower, leaving about an inch of wire, and keeping the leaves with the flower by pushing them up the stem to meet the bottom of the flower before cutting. Then I just popped them into the foam, no adhesive necessary. Like I said, the arrangement needs adjusting, but it was a pretty cheap prop and I liked the idea. Its something that I hadnt seen before. If you make one, Id love to see it!
