OK, so Ive been debating on doing this for a few months and for whatever reason, its weighing heavy my mind & heart today to get this out there. A few months ago, Jimmy & I were at the flea market, doing our regular Saturday morning thing, when I happened up on this set of wood salad bowls, or maybe they are soup bowls, (not the one in pic) and as I was picking them up I spotted this hand made wood bowl. I love things like this so I asked how much and was pleasantly surprised when the lady said, give me $3 and you can have all 5 small ones and the larger one. Naturally, I didnt hesitate & quickly paid her, collected my items & we continued on. It wasnt until much later that day, after we got home, that I realized there was an inscription on the back of the bowl. Apparently, this bowl was made for a couple, Im assuming, either a wedding or anniversary gift. Its pretty old and Id love to return it to the owners that were gifted this or their children/grandchildren. The inscription reads: Hand Made 1946 Robert T. Hogg Jr. ...... To Laura and Jack, From Lydia and Clyde, Oct. 12.1946. Please help me share this and hopefully get it back where it belongs. Just seems someone went to extra lengths to have this made for that couple and would have great sentimental value to me, had it been mine. Thank you.
