OK so Ive got a theory. Maybe the reality of KCLs marketing campaign was that they came up with Kings London so that people get annoyed and kick up a fuss. As a result, 1000s will sign petitions and all sorts. THEN Kings will say OK we will listen to the people that matter an keep the name Kings College London (this was entirely pre-planned). This will make people at KCL feel appreciated. Student satisfaction will fly through the roof (this is what is really letting Kings down in their UK rankings). They will also be known as the university that listen. Win Win. This reminds me of when Snape killed Dumbledore for the greater good. --------------------- That is what I call epic consulting... ...Or maybe they are actually serious.
