OK, so for arguments sake, lets take the rabid right-winger survivalist patriot scenario and run with it for a bit. Say these Cliven Bundy/Ted Nugent/Chuck Norris lovers actually do descend on Washington, DC, and shoot em all up there (apparently, we have to presume they win out over our combined military forces as well), especially the illegitimate Kenyan Muslim Commie black president, and the whole lot of them are now dead with these pot-bellied, Duck Dynasty-bearded hillbillies posing for pictures with their AR-15s while hoisting a brew like they just bagged a 12-point buck while hunting in the Ozarks. Now what? Whats next? Im asking. What will be their version of an American utopia free of all goobermint tyranny then? I think, given the types were dealing with here, that they will govern by the gun, a la the Wild West, and turn from DC to some other bastion of folks they believe are conspiring against them for doing god knows what. State and local governments are the next easily-identifiable targets. OK, go shoot all of them dead. Now what? Go after group after group as you decide theyre turning on you one by one in trying to establish some kind of new government, or at least law and order and some semblance of infrastructure services so they have, oh I dont know, clean water, food, and maybe electricity? Sounds like itll be no sweat whatsoever for Nazis and Communists and Muslims and Taliban and Al Queda and gay people and black people and brown people and single moms - and every other group they claim to hate, if there are any left - to be able to overrun North America by then, since there will only be a tiny handful of totally absolutist, crazy nutjobs left anymore who pick each other off, too, as a result of their purist infighting. So much for their cry of saving America. Maybe all those groups of people they hate so much would indeed come in and create a new America that really will be for everyone, as we had done before these patriots showed up to save us all in the first place. Nice job people, lets call it a day, its Miller time! (oh wait, that was those patriots, the Millers, last weekend in Las Vegas. My bad. Ne-ext!).
