OK so here is the report from Michaels Dr. visit. He is pretty cool about doing the study so that is GREAT! Dr. H thought Michael looked very tired, not like his usual self. Ordered some meds to help him sleep better and hopefully perk up his appetite . Michaels WBC was down to 970, they really want it to be at least 1000. But they did decided to keep him on his current chemo amount. Michaels right hip has been really hurting him, so Doc ordered a Xray and they will call us with the appointment. Michael did tell Doc that lately the whole cancer thing has really hit home for him. Doc said his current chemo is not going to work forever. Second line chemos rarely do he said. After the visit we went and saw the social worker and got his advanced directives-living will done. Really makes it more of a reality! I am here to tell you Dr. Hassan is one of the most caring, compassionate Drs. I or Michael have ever been patients of. So he has to get his blood work done on 10/10 for the study and should be good to go! So not in the best of moods right now. CANCER FREAKIN SUCKS!
