OK, so heres Side Two of the 20 year old mix tape Id thought lost forever...actually, I can date it pretty well now because this side had some tracks from Beatles Anthology 2 on it which came out in 1996. I think I made this right around the time I got that. So, Side Two is all Beatles songs, and when youve got a catalog that big and only 55 minutes to fill, AND a theme as big as burning music to work with, well, you cant deal in obscurity...still, I managed to sneak a few oddities on anyway: Strawberry Fields Forever Across the Universe Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite Im Only Sleeping - short instrumental take, mainly a vibrophone. Im Only Sleeping - 2nd take version from Anthology 2 Blue Jay Way Flying (Yes, I think Im smarter than the Four, I think those 2 songs belong in that order and not the other way round.) Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds Im So Tired Here Comes the Sun And Your Bird Can Sing - the cut where they giggle constantly through the entire song. You know exactly what was going on in that studio.
