OK, so heres some photos most of you have never seen: The millinery (?hats!) dept of the Florala Fair department store on the square in Florala and the front of the old(er) Shepherd Furniture company (and funeral parlor upstairs....ever notice that elevator in the ceiling in that building? it cant come down now....) and the second building of the Florala Hardware Company--the interior picture, I have no idea when --the exterior photos are from the late 30s--early 40s..... AND WHILE you are looking: all of these photos have been digitally copied so that in the event I lose them--someone still has them. Have you got old photos that you should share? High school, grammar school, parades? weddings?--remember, if you have the only ones and they are lost to fire, flood, accident--they are gone forever! Be your own archivist: make sure someone has copies of your photos--family, friends, safety deposit box, HISTORICAL SOCIETY........These photos are from the collection of C. Louis Eiland
