OK so lets talk about the weird science. or as Einstein called it spooky science. and I will try to put this in laymans terms and draw you a picture. this cant be solved in a facebook status. I you project light onto a solid it will bounce back toward you or move in some direction other than forward. Im convinced that the same thing happens with thought. Only with thought, the obstacles are different. The elements are completely different. and so with the exercises with the frog in a jar and some of the others that have been done over the years. I think those are very interesting but unsophisticated. so there may be actually, a combination of things going on. you may have the possibility of light going through a prism and that usually causes an array of colors. if you force light through glass, and focus it on a piece of paper, you are very likely to produce fire or enough heat to produce fire. if you put enough charge through a copper wire, you can produce electricity. if you harness that power, you can produce. alot of electricity. If cod and heat hit a blanket at the same time, you will get electric sparks. All of this is energy, naturally generated by the world around us. so the spooky part is the part that we have yet to harness or to control and I am not sure that it will ever be, and that may be just as well. So i will propose an exercise, and some will be multiple choice answers. the one reason I would do this is that I dont believe that there can ever be one answer for everyone, just because of our experiential differences. I think that is where metaphor and archetypal images really play a major role in understanding how we think.
