OK so the other day I was in a restaurant here in town grabbing breakfast on my way to get Valpo Viennas open and noticed that they offer a Chicago Style Hot Dog for 25 cents more than the price of their regular dog. This supposed Chicago Style included mustard, onion, relish. REALLY? Our Valpo Vienna has more STANDARD Toppings than this!! I would guess that this is also not on a steamed poppy seed bun or have celery salt ? They also say they are using Vienna Beef hot dogs. You may want to ask to see the packaging? Folks a true Chicago Style hot dog will have all seven condiments, Mustard, NEON GREEN RELISH, Onion, Tomato, Pickle Spear, Sport Peppers and Celery Salt and it should be on a steamed poppy seed bun. At Valpo Viennas we take this even farther and use the best hot dogs in the region, Vienna Beef Brand and grill them to bring out the flavor and cook them fresh to your order in front of you while you wait. Our hot dogs and sausages never sit around in a pot of water waiting to get sold and losing flavor. While you will have a wait for your food we promise it will be worth the wait!!!
