OK, so this has to be one of the easiest crops, or plants to grow. I planted one Raspberry and one Blackberry next to each other last year 2013 in the fall I believe and this is one years growth. BAM, the Blackberry just took off, did I say BAMM?? Yep, the raspberry is doing ok, but nothing like the Blackberry. I planted just 1 stalk each and I have already harvested about a pint of Blackberries. This might not sound like much, but it is sooooo easy!! If your looking for some sweeties in your garden, try Blackberries. Just build about a 4ft support,I used 2 cedar posts about 6-8 feet apart, drilled 3 holes in each and attached some eye bolt and landscape wire. Space your plants at least 3 feet apart if not further and Viola!!! Eat them right off of the vine for maximum sweetness. Do not refrigerate, for this might makes them somewhat bitter, or more tart. Good Luck!! Oh, and believe me I will make the Raspberries productive too, no doubt!!
