OK something to clarify about today! Rookery: rook·er·y/ˈro͝okərē/ noun a breeding colony of rooks (crow-like birds), typically seen as a collection of nests high in a clump of trees. a dense collection of housing, especially in a slum area. AND Rockery: A small garden of stones (usually, this word is used in the UK, and not so much in America). Looking back on it, Im sure that it the word in question was actually rockery, because I think Coraline at one point mentions going out into the rock garden in front of her house. Sorry for any confusion; looks like I was a little less i zgjuar than usual today.
