OK story time again. I own a Yakima Hold Up. Works great. But I tried putting my buddies Moonlander on it, and it just dont work. So, I e-mail Yakima about what they are doing for an adapter. I explained that Thule has one for their platform rack. Hollywood has one. Hell, just about everyone has one. When are they putting something out. I get a reply from them that they are bringing out a solution in early 2015. And they send me a link. I open it and it is a totally new bike rack. Now... it took about 2 hours for this to sink in and hit me and Im back on the computer replying to his e-mail. It went something like this. I will curb the language in this depiction. It was very graphic in the original reply. WTF!!!! Are you %$#$%ing kidding me. Let me explain something to you. I own a rack you put out that retails for around $400. I also own the two bike extension, which retails for around $300 more. Now after I have spent nearly $700 mother %$#$%$ing dollars on YOUR rack. Your solution to me for making my fat bike fit is to send me the link to BUY ANOTHER $#%$#ing bike rack. YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME. I will be sure to bad mouth the %$#%^ out of your product from now till the day I day. I will go out of my way to make sure no one I know ever purchases anything with the $%$#$ing YAKIMA name on it again. You lost a customer and have earned an enemy for life. %$#$% YOU and YOUR BIKE RACKS. Buy another bike rack. Hell, even Hollywood has a solution for their racks. Thule has a solution. YOU PUT OUT A BRAND NEW RACK. Your a bunch of jerks. I have not heard back from them after this reply. I must say, I was a bit disappointed they did not reply to me. :-) So, what Platform rack do you use and recommend for hauling a fat bike. Im looking for a new one. AND DONT RECOMMEND any thing from YAKIMA. And Im only looking for Platform Racks. No roof mounts either. P.S. Dont buy a bike rack from YAKIMA.
