OK, the ALS ice bucket program has been super successful, raising over $100 million, four times the entire amount spent by the organization last year. Now I do not want to appear to be parochial, but my dear wifey and Roller Derby treasure Val Capone is enduring a very painful hospital stay for her treatment of Crohns disease and possibly faces some radical surgery.....she has been in the hospital for two weeks, and will face tremendous bills. Please concentrate some energy on Val, and even if you can donate a very few dollars, please do so here and now.
