OK then to make up for my abject failure at positioning myself correctly on College Green this morning, heres the next one I took and at least Im pretty sure Im in the right place this time. Even if the now photo is dominated by White Van Man! It is of course directly opposite Denmark Street and the then photo is of captured ME109 Messerschmitts (more correctly bf109s), and I think that we can say with some confidence that it is in the period 1939-1945, and probably the earlier part
