OK, there are now 2 threads that have been hijacked by the Paul Is Dead issue. Frankly, I was concerned about that sort of thing. We discussed the matter a couple of months ago when Daves page was getting hijacked by the issue. Several of us certainly remember it. I searched through all those items myself. Essentially, it comes down to one thing: proof. Its clear there is absolutely no actual evidence this actually transpired. Speaking personally, Im in the group that does not view photo comparisons, lyric & album cover interpretations and attributed doodles as evidence. There seems to be this notion that somehow I need to piece together a mosaic of Pauls life with the Beatles to see it. Im sorry but that isnt evidence, either. You see, the notion that Paul was killed and replaced is a very specific accusation. Its going to require specific proof. If after 48 years, at least a half dozen books, plus the continued efforts from researchers as well as interest from fans, all you have is the aforementioned evidence, maybe the issue isnt really there. I have no interest in watching more threads, even this page got bogged down with this. Im going to make this thread the official thread about this issue. If anybody cares to discuss the issue, heres the place. Im going to start this with a set of question pulled right from Dave off his page. The ability to adequately answer any of those will go a long way to making a case.
