OK time for me to put my 2 cents in on this local political race. I dont normally get involved business wise but I think this is important. Now. most of you know I am a totally honest person that wears my heart on my sleeve. I am an open book. So, when I firmly believe in something I have to shout it! For me, personally, Mellisa Mazzeo & Churchill Cotton are the people I am voting for on Tuesday for the at-large seats. Why? Because Melissa was only one of two that returned my emails about a recent concern and Church actually hunted me down on North Street to address my concerns on the parking problems. Melissa has been so involved in so many local matters & is a huge presence at Zonta Club of Berkshire County - I have always admired the energy & belief that goes into everything she does! And the same goes for Churchill Cotton - he has been involved in this community for so many years - yes, the Eagle said he is soft-spoken but that has always what made me listen to him! One of the other runners has always touted support local but she NEVER has. Ask just about anybody on this street if they have seen her in their store until she put her name on the ballot - I am guessing you wont get too many yays So kill me now if I have just shot myself in the foot but I really dont think if you vote the other way you are going to get anything other than someone with their own agenda - I want people looking out for all of us!
