OK, todays PBS trivia question is something that can only be answered by somebody that either knows me, has read an article I authored many years ago or has read a few internet accounts of my archery beginnings, that is unless you are the luckiest guesser on the planet. ;) Here you go-- I have often attributed 3 events that occurred within the span of a week as being the reasons I have had a 40 year love affair with the bow and arrow. The last of these events was asking for and receiving a bow and arrows for my 9th birthday. The second event was being invited to shoot a bow at my grandparents neighbors house and the first was accidentally stumbling onto this classic archery/bowhunting film while stuck inside on a rainy Saturday afternoon. What was the films title? Just in case a few of you get it, here is the tie breaker. What scene was showing that caused me to stop on that channel? You could call or text Leslie, but honestly, she probably doesnt know or at least remember, but I have given this film the credit is deserves for years as it holds a special place in my heart.
