OK, what the hell, I was a history major in college... Just shows that the Rangers fans were not merely crybabies or homers; the Rangers really were screwed by the officials, on one of the most crucial plays in the series. (While theyre at it, they should permit video review of delay of game calls, or non-calls, because the refs in this series missed a clear call there, too. Not much you can do about the phantom calls; they hurt the Rangers not because they didnt go both ways, but because the Kings capitalized.) And, interestingly, if the goal calls had been right, LA might not even have made the finals, as the Sharks got screwed, too. Water over the dam, as they say. And its cold comfort to have the League admit the call was bogus.
