OK – this is me – Steve, doing his best not to have a rant, BUT, can anyone explain to me just why people visit a session club particularly because there is a session on, sit in the room where the musicians play, and then spend the whole evening talking at the top of their voices and spoiling the enjoyment of the session for everyone else? And it’s not just the ‘unlistening’ customers, far worse are the musicians and singers that apparently only want to hear themselves perform and blithely talk over other performers. At the very least this is ill mannered and rude and very disrespectful. If there is any hope at all for the Spittalbrook this behaviour has to stop.
