OKAY! NEW MEDICAL ALERT.......... Boy o Boy, I am seeing way to many doctors! Today I had my 2nd confirmation (this time by ultrasound) that I have Hyper-Parathyroid and am looking at 1 more outpatient surgery in my near future. My other doctors told me not to worry and wait and get my calcium levels rechecked, but being the shy me, I went ahead and saw an Endocrinologist on my own and had my suspicions confirmed and feel much better knowing. I am waiting to hear back from a friend who had the same surgery last year in Tampa, FL at the Norman Parathyroid Center. If you want more info on the procedure, or just like watching someone else have surgery, I am attaching a youtube video about this. On the cancer/chemo front: 1) my hair is beginning to grow-now about 1/4 inch coming back in dark 2) my itches are still with me-show up at the most irritating time possible. 3) the school bus coordinator has called 3 times to see when I am coming back. 4) we are currently sorting the whole house to get it ready to put it on the market.
