OKAY you Titans of Business, now lets see how clever you are! ;-) I am launching a new service (another niche of MOBI-brands) in the next few weeks. Its a B2C model and that is most of who we will be targeting. HOWEVER, I have identified that there are some big corps out there who have massive databases and who provide a service that my service is highly complimentary too and could retain their clients for longer, hence making them more money. I am putting together a battle plan on how to approach this and will be targeting the marketing directors who are very easy to identify and contact. I can show them the service, how it works, successes that we have had previously and how it could be implemented, how it will retain clients and hence make them more money. It will cost the company NOTHING as all I am asking them to do is to do a mailshot to their current and passed clients and the client can then sign up.... The biggest challenge I am preparing for comes from having worked in the financial corporate industry for many years is the Compliance department (normally the arch enemy of sales / marketing) as I feel they may refuse to send a email blast as it would be seen as endorsing another product from outside of the company.. I feel this will be more of a problem with bigger companies than smaller ones but would just like to win this one before I even walk into the meetings. What do you reckon would be the best course of action for me to get compliance onside? Thanks in advance ;-)
