OKIGWE ENDORSE RT.HON BENJAMIN UWAJUMOGU AS THEIR RIGHTFUL CANDIDATE FOR SENATE 2015. In continuation of consultation and party affiliation, the Okigwe Zone All Progressive Congress (APC) executives, leaders and Apex leaders who are so much concerned about okigwe course, today, summon meeting to clear their stand before Rt.Hon Benjamin Uwajumogu as the 2015 drum beat aloud. The meeting which was presided by an Elder as well APC apex leader in okigwe zone Dr Sir Chijioke popularly knew as EJK. In his speech appreciate the governor of Imo State in his transformation agenda,policies and how he carried okigwe people along in his government despite that okigwe people did not give him up to 2% vote during the 2011. In addition, Dr Sir EJK went into history to cite how zoning in Okigwe was emasculate in the year 1978 and maintain his disposition that okigwe elective positions remains open for only credible candidates that represent them more effective and efficiently and as well ensure that, there are presence of Federal Government developmental projects in their district. Furthermore, Dr Sir EJK, before the executives, leaders and Apex leaders in Okigwe, on their behalf, presented a well articulated communique to Rt.Hon Benjamin Uwajumogu and with a load tune voice pronounce/endorse Rt.Hon Benjamin Uwajumogu as their rightful candidate for Okigwe senatorial seat come 2015 as they all agreed. In his response, the Rt.Hon speaker Imo State house of assembly, Rt.Hon Benjamin Uwajumogu. Expresses his gratefulness and thankfulness for find him worthy, capable and having such confidence and believe in him that he will deliver and he must deliver. In addition, said, Okigwe senatorial position is every serious project for the betterment of Ndi-Okigwe and he is more than serious and has taken it as a divine project that Ndi-okigwe must exercise invigorating zeal over it course. Furthermore, Rt.Hon speaker said, his hands are so much open to welcome anyone who want to challenge him in the party primary and if he is being defeated, he will give a maximium support to him/her who bears the party flag. In addition, Rt.Hon Speaker maintain his disposition, that on several occassions, he have challenge most of the political leaders in okigwe both those in government and business arena to mention or enlist their projects or contributions towards developing Okigwe. He warned Ndi-Okigwe, that okigwe senate seats is not and should not be an avenue of one to enrich his/her pocket and Okigwe seat is not and be should not allow to be a thing of money buying. Furthermore, Rt.Hon Benjamin Uwajumogu. Urge Ndi-Okigwe, to always consider the home trained politicians who understands the problems of his/her community/districts. Okigwe senatorial seat is not all about carrying Phd certifications, coming from USA and Germany or having all the political god-father rather is for those who understands the intricacies of dividends of democracy and some with antecedents of achievements.
