OLD COMMUNICATION SYSTEM NEEDS TO BE UPDATED! Time and time again Emergency Management Services has gone to Fiscal Court and asked for additional funds to do their jobs. Each time they are turned down. This has caused Bullitt County’s communication system to be come out dated. There are places in the county that might not even be reached by radio. This means when law enforcement responds to a call to these locations they could be potentially headed into an area with zero back up and no way to call for help. This is a dangerous situation for our people in uniform and is appalling. Bullitt County needs to be brought into the 21st century and the current Judge Executive does not have the vision or the ability to get us there.
