OLD FORGERs once again a MUST read.... And I ask that you DEFF share it for me, to as many ppl as possible... Cuz with permission of these kids and their parents. I am personally paying for and running this photo along with all of these words in the Triboro banner With thats being said, 1st off I would like to congratulate each and every one of these young men and women on their induction to the national honor society, you should all be very proud of one another and yourselves.... Great job kids, and best of luck in your future.... Now as I look at this OLD FORGE high school honor society photo, I think to myself.?.? SELF. . . Wow what an ASS that Chris Kelly (writer, if thats what he wants to call himself is for the Scranton Times) 1st of all to mock children of kindergarten through grade 12, cuz thats exactly what he did, because in his moronic article (during the strike) a few months back, he said and I quote Old forges education system so again in my eyes thats the entire school and its district To continue on. . . Like I said; too mock and make fun of these boys, these girls, their parents, their teachers, their town, and their school and initially them in general as a whole. Well you Mr Kelly (and I use the term Mr lightly, and with respect for myself only, not you... You should be deeply ashamed of yourself. You a grown man to pick on such fine young men and women. (our students) Hard working adolescents, in school, on the field, and in every walk of life as human beings. Have you done no research, have you done no investigating about these boys and girls. Cuz when I look up on that stage not only do I see intelligence, honor, and pride, but I see HEART, (something you must not have) I see dignity(something you DEFF do not have) and I see Love (something you prob have , but only for yourself) but for these kids, they have it all, for themselves, their family, their teachers, their school, their education, their scholastics, and also for their fellow students. And you want too knock them for it... Like I said earlier you should be ashamed to call yourself a man, you are nothing but a BULLY WITH A PEN who hides behind paper, and uses it as your only tool and means to vent your bad, your anger, and your jealousy out, towards a world of good, but these boys and girls, their school and their teachers have proved you wrong, you spoke about grades and grammar, and how they had lit if none, you spoke about putting sports before school work, you gestured about others who have graduate from Old Forge and went no where on life...(Old Forger produced some of the finest Drs, of all types of medicines, lawyers, business owners, chemists, professors, teachers, NASA employes, self made millionaires, writers, journalists, CEOS, major financial business men and women locally and world wide Etc etc, and some of the finest ppl IN GENERAL this side of the Mississippi....Look up on that stage once again Christopher, open your eyes that are so wide shut. You will see what we all see... The truth... You will see Honor Society students, boys and girls who take their education and also yes... Their sports very seriously (there are football players, baseball players, basketball players, softball players, cheerleaders, pom pom units, crossing guards, etc, etc) also along with the ones not pictured, and by no means does that make them any less of the other (I mean the school as a whole) they ALL proved you SO WRONG, and proved THEMSELVES and THEIR DISTRICT SO RIGHT. Boy o boy... Again you mi-nute lit excuse for a writer have got your facts so out of wack, and only because you let your emotions and ego get in the way of your so called profession that actually ended up making a FOOL of but 1 person... And that my friend is YOURSELF. And you out of all ppl should have remembered the old saying the pen is mightier then the sword but you should never use it against someone (especially to be put in their backs) You coward.... You should try doing it in front of their face, you would get more respect that way.... Those who live by the pen, die by the pen And pls do not comment on my grammar I do not write for a living.
