OM Gosh! I thought it was the 6th! Its the 7th. Our anniversary. I made reservations at Saltys on The Columbia tomorrow night! :)))) Saltys is where we went for our first date 49 years ago. It was called Bartf Warf. Nita spilled her salad in her lap because they set it too close to the edge of the table. She had it back on the table before I even knew it. What a gal. They sat us up against an inside wall with no view but it didnt matter. Scared the heck out of me as I knew this was the one! Id never even thought about getting serious! Broke up for a week but it didnt do any good. Been together ever since. Life didnt turn out as planned but whos does. Thats OK our borrowed car broke down after the wedding and I spent most of the night fixing in before we could leave. Never made it to the place we had reserved! Only place we could get was an apartment in Centralia at two in the morning. You dont have to have a perfect wedding to make it. We even came home two days early from the honeymoon just to save money. I was going to school and she was working. :))) Marriage is not about expensive presents on holidays! Its about commitment! No marriage is perfect!
