OM NAMO BHAGAVATE VASUDEVAYA DIVINE SOUNDS OR A DEAFENING SILENCE......!!! As we all devote and dedicate our time, energy and effort to understand the Divine words of Lord Krsna, and try to dive and immerse ourselves into the verses each day all together; it may be in order at this time to introspect on just why did The Bhagavad Gita even have to be Spoken by Lord Krsna in the midst of the two armies. Some of the crucial [actions or inactions] that lead to the battle : Greed for Gold Crown, Land, Fame [King Dhrtrashatra and Duryodhana], Gambling and its losses [Pandavas and Kauravas], Degradation of women [Queen Draupadi insulted], Silence at the wrong time and place [Bhishmadev and Drona], Wrong advice [from a Guru = Dronacarya] or Wrong advice [from Father to son= Dhrtarashtra to Duryodhana]. Thus, even if we were to read and discuss only the First Chapter, it is an eye opener for anyone attempting to understand and realize ones Self=Atman and their relationship with The Supreme Self = Paramatman. One would soon realize how Bhismadev and Dronas Silence lead to Lord Krsnas Divine presence on the Battle grounds of Kuruksetre and LORD KRSNAS profound Speech to dear Arjuna of what to do and what not to do...!!! Most often in the scriptures, it is noted that even when Kings, Queens and Sages lost their Divine Vision and/or voluntarily and decisively opted to be in darkness or ignorance [like Ravana, Dhrtarashtra, Duryodhana, Kamsa, Hiryankashipu, Bali Maharaj]; they always lost to The Supreme...!!! Thus, as we breathe the Air of life for sustenance each day, and use the same Air for Speech to sing, CHANT and meditate on ALL HIS NAMES AND DIVINE WORDS, we must remind ourselves that our Words too are always important; and that too at the right time. On the same token, a word of caution on our Silence and may HE always give us the strength and the wisdom to Not maintain Silence at the wrong time and place. [or else we must rest assure of experiencing a GITA in our own Material and greedy human life too] Food for Thought: Liberty of our Speech & Silence....!!! Our actions through our own Divine [Speech] and/or inaction by maintaining a decisive, unrighteous, partial and deafening [Silence] - MUST then be well chosen, or else they both have a price for us to pay......!!! I guess SOUND is everything- BUT, at the right time too.!!!
