OMFG.... Paul just said, as were having a clear out, and its no good to the animal shelters, why dont we give the warm clothing of coats/ jumpers/ socks/ hats/ gloves to the homeless charity as the temperature as we all know is dropping, and theres things here still with tags on! Great idea Paul, so I get on laptop straight away... Coat Amnesty charity pops up begging for warm clothing in the N/E so I msg them asking wheres the drop off point etc? Can you believe the long winded msg back which rebuffs my offer explaining IVE missed the chance to donate as they ONLY do it in the run up to Xmas!! So no one gets cold after that then??? FFs!!! Nothing to do with the money your paid from the government either! They suggest I take the items to a charity shop instead.... If I wanted to do that I would of, I dont want them sold on, I want to help people that are cold! Well how about this instead... I wont give your charity one item of clothing now, ever , but what I will do is find a charity that dispenses clothing directly to the needy, even if its from a soup van you pedantic pricks, and if I see any homeless people locally, Ill actually Hand them something Myself! If theres anything I cant pass on, Ill sell on eBay and hand over the cash direct to someone that needs it... Thank you for your help charity Really??? I hope I never need your help..
