He saw the 2 girls but couldnt go near them. I spoke to the AC officer who pursued them last Saturday and he told me, they go into a public works area. My friend and I went yesterday afternoon and after over an hour of searching, the 2 girls appeared on the same grass patch as 7 days ago. Some pedestrians walked by, so they ran off. We followed them and they went into the public works area!! We followed them and then they came out the public works area on the OTHER end and ran across the street into a cement factory property. THIS IS A HUGE AREA TO COVER and I believe that the only way to get them, is to trap them in the public works area. The manager of that public works property is not in until Wednesday but I will call again then ask him, if we are allowed to set up a feeding station and then traps. THESE GIRLS COME WITH FULL MEDICAL COVERAGE BY ELDAD and $900 DONATION! THE HUSKY looking girl is IN A LOT OF PAIN, SHE CANT PUT ANY PRESSURE ON HER HIND LEG - THIS IS URGENT!!!! He was very nice and told me, that he got them off the main road but couldnt catch them. They went into a public works place right down the street. The officer said, that the one who is more severely injured was able to run away from him but IMMEDIATELY HELP UP HER LEG once she got away from him. SHE HAD A FRESH, BLOODY INJURY!!!! AND HER LEG / HIP MIGHT BE BROKEN! THEY WILL NOT SURVIVE THERE!!! The officer told me, that they were able to catch the 2 siblings a while ago but he did not know, whether they were euthanized or rescued/adopted from Baldwin Park Shelter. PLEASE HELP!!! 6 days ago, these 2 girls were in the Irwin dale (bordering Arcadia), INJURED and STARVING. The ONLY rescuer who has been willing to go out there so far, was fellow rescuer Ruth. She went on Monday and found out from a worker at the trucking company, that the dogs have been there for several months (since they were puppies) and that there were 4 of them, so that means, 2 most likely died already. WE HAVE FULL MEDICAL COVERAGE FROM ELDAD AND CLOSE to $400 IN PLEDGES. WE NEED RESCUERS IN THE AREA to monitor the site so that El dad can catch them and A RESCUE TO ACCEPT THESE GIRLS BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE!!! One ate treats out of my hand and the other was too scared. Both had injuries on their legs but one was holding up her hind right leg and limping and had a FRESH, open injury on her left hind leg. They appeared to have been hit by cars. Both girls are VERY SKINNY, you can see the hip bones sticking out. I was not able to catch them, as I ran out of food. When I came back with my co-worker and food, water, blankets etc, they were gone. We searched the surrounding area for almost 2 hours and could not find them. The people we spoke to, handt seen them before, except one guy who saw them in the early afternoon. THIS IS VERY URGENT AS THEY ARE STARVING AND INJURED and in DANGER of getting hit by cars again!!!
