OMG!! Going to go crazy reading the recommendations from a phd regarding autism, and speech delay on a page. I have nothing against signing and many children who speak differant languages is a wonderful thing! But when talking about a kid with autism spectrum signals or signs you are encouraging their imward behavior (WTF?) autistic or asbergers children can not in anyway be encouraged to stay inward you will loose them! All do respect I have a phd and a mother of asbergers child that is flourishing whom I was told would never count to ten Love it when they start throwing around their added alphabet soup. That PHD doesnt change the piss poor advice you give parents who are looking to HELP their children. I cant imagine accepting advice to LIMIT my childs communication tools. Do people really accept that kind of advice from medical and psych pros?
