OMG! On Bobbys 1st Anniversary in Heaven, this past May, 15, 2014 I chose to do random acts of kindness for others, by handing out cards with money in them. Bobby was guiding me who to hand them to. I only asked for people to please pay kindness forward. Tonight as I was laying on Bobbys couch, I felt a strong nudge to go to my messages, and check the other box, for those messages that we receive from people that we dont know. I had forgotten about the other message box until now & look what a beautiful woman wrote! I will leave her name out, until I have her permission to share it! One of my random act of kindness has a ripple effect of Love, starting from Bobby, to me, to Shannon to others!! God Bless her! I dont know how she found me, as I signed it, Bobbys Mom! Please everyone... do random acts of kindness, it goes a long way! Here is the message She sent me! Dear Bobbys Mom, My name is Shannon *********** and my daughter Hannah and I were recipients of a random act of kindness from you on Thurs, May 15th at the Dunkin Donuts in Avon, MA. I hope you dont mind that I found you on Facebook and have contacted you. Additionally, I hope that this message actually reaches you since it will be in your other folder. I wanted to share my story of your act of kindness. For me, your act of kindness wasnt the money, it was you. You were a message that I was supposed to hear that day. I live in Jamestown, RI and was praying on my drive to Costco that day for some perspective. Things in my life were such that I needed help putting in perspective what was truly important. Our brief interaction was a prayer answered and I believe your son lead you to me for that reason. As you walked away, you asked me to promise to pay it forward. What you didnt hear me say is that I will. And I did. I attached a screen shot of what I posted on my Facebook page that day sharing the story with my friends and family. I wanted to contact you to tell you that I took your gift, matched it (and then some) and together we are helping sponsor a scholarship for a special needs child to attend summer camp at the local YMCA where I exercise every day. Your act of kindness will continue to help others as it has helped me. I wanted you to know that though we have never formally met, for me, the memory of your son will continue to live on through your kind deeds and I will always remember our brief interaction. Respectfully, ************************ I feel so Happy, one of my acts of kindness is still going forward with Love
