OMG, holy Shit, the Galápagos Islands after approx 30 Hrs sitting on either a Plane or at an Airport we made it to the most amazing place I have ever been to. Ive seen plenty of Docos on the Galapagos which always looked amazing, but to be here in the flesh has just blown my mind. Like another world, getting so up close & personal to the wildlife has been awesome, they have no fear of humans what so ever, some times you have to walk around them on the tracks cause they wont move off. Under water just the same, just awesome. Have taken heaps of photos & video but nothing will do it justice. It is simply incredible. Was on a great ship, 100 passengers of which 48 were Aussies met some top people, ate & drank too much but holy crap, what a start. No reception out there so this was my first opportunity to post..
