OMG! one of the hawks is stalking D.O.G.! the haw is sitting atop the swing set and D.O.G. is under it. i would be worried if he were a bit smaller. the bird first alit on top of the power line pole, looked at me and cried out several times, before following D.O.G., who went wandering to look for the source of the cries. he looked right at me and seemed to be talking to me from atop that pole. i wonder what he was trying to tell me! probably that i have a tasty-looking dog, lol! no, really, it was a sacred moment for me. meanwhile, my little ruby-throated avian friends are screeching at me to fill their feeders. the hawk has flown away, but i still hear him crying out from the far end of the park. beautiful start to the day! i am in awe!
