OMG reminds me of my crazy adventure of hippos sighting at Naiwasha in Kenya!! Walked down mount Naiwasha to see baby and mama hippos in lake Naiwasha late afternoon ...3hrs later pitch dark ... couldnt see back of hand! Heard grunting baby and mama in the manyara settling down for the night ... but no see 😡 .... had to walk the Savannah amongst lions hyenas and dingos for hrs. to find the dirt road .. then picked up by search part y..hahaha and were told that hippos chase people bite them in HALF...kill..can run as fast as 60km/hr... one miraculous night...still here to tell the tale !!!!
