ON 9-11-2001 I was at work. My boss, John Huegel, and I heard the news on NPR radio and immediately turned on the television. We watched as the confusion became hysteria mixed with confusion. We saw the second plane hit the tower, people running, people jumping from heights they never had a chance to survive. We watched tearfully and silently as the towers collapsed taking precious lives as they went. Billowing clouds of dust and debris chasing people down the crowded New York streets. A memory none of us should have. A memory none of us should forget! God Bless America and those who lost lives and loved ones in this terrible event.
