ON A PERSONAL NOTE: It has been a very busy, fun and delicious few days! Thursday our Bible study ladies were invited to a luncheon at one members beautiful home on the beach. In the summer we just get together once a month to catch up on news, laugh a lot, and pray for one another. Then on Friday evening, The Ecumenical Choir of Walton County, gathered together for an Italian dinner in honor of Fr. Frank Coopers and his wife Martha retirement. Fr. Franks church, Christ the King Episcopal Church, hosts the Ecumenical Choir, and hes been a member of the choir. After ten years, theyll leave a void in both the choir, and the church! Saturday night while Bob was singing with the DWC choir at church, I received an invitation to go out with for pizza with friends...and since Italian foods not my husbands favorite, I jumped at the chance! And, tonight I had dinner with some of the ladies of DWC Small Group Leaders, while my husband had leftovers at home...alone. Tomorrow night, weve been invited to a gourmet dinner party that a friend is throwing for mutual friends who just returned from a month tour of the West, and for my belated June birthday. After tomorrow night we have an open calendar...which means I will have to do my own cooking, with a little help from my best friend...unless we get another invitation. Hint, hint! 😊
