ON ANNA, KEJRIWAL AND ELECTION ! Yesterday I had traveled to Himachal Pradesh for some work. I started early in the morning in a hired taxi and after doing the work returned to Delhi at night. In totality, I traveled for about twelve hours in the car. Most of the time was spent in political discussion with Sameer, the driver. He was a staunch supporter of Narendra Modi & BJP, I thought at first. He was full of praise for Modi and delivered lot of abuses on Mulyam, his one legitimate son and another illegitimate son ( according to him !). With me, he also agreed that even Mayawati is better than Mulyam. And he was full of praise for Amit Shah, for wrenching UP from the grasp of this duo ! How Amit Shah had called more than a thousand Muslims from Gujarat and had spread them over all places to convince the Muslims and thats how BJP had won! I couldnt take it any more and said that Id heard the Muslims went against SP because of Azam Khan, who promised support to the Muslims and backed them to fight the Hindus at Muzaffarnagar but ultimately didnt send any police ! And the Muslims were beaten to pulp by the Hindus ! Sameer agreed and said, yes,sir, the Muslims were taught a good lesson ! And then we came to Aam Aadmi party and Arvind Kejriwal ! He said, dont take his name sir, ek no. ki gandha admi ! I said, no, definitely not, rather the opposite, there is nobody like him in the country ! But sir, do you know he wanted to kill an old man by forcing him to fast ? Sameer, are you talking about Anna Hazare ? Do you think that he was a kid ? That Kejriwal will ask him to fast and hell fast ? He was the leader of the movement, whatever he did was on his own wish ! But sir, you agree that Kejriwal was next to him, isnt it ? If the father dies, who gets the property ? The eldest son ! So, if Anna died, Kejriwal would have become the top man ! Oh my God, Sameer, Kejriwal is the top man now and where is Anna ? He has become top without killing Anna ! And if anything happened to Anna, these political parties would have put all blame on Kejriwal ! Thats why they were very careful about his health ! But sir, jisko koi ake thappad marke jai, ow aadmi ka aukad kya hai ? Sameer, many politicians have been slapped till now ! I dont have to give a list ! You pay good money to a poor man and ask him to slap Kejriwal, it is no big thing ! You know what happened to the man who slapped Sarad Pawar ? He was beaten up everyday for one year ! But what Kejriwal did ? He went to the house of that man the next day with flowers & sweets ! That man started crying falling on his feet ! Is there anybody else in India who can do that ? Sir, Kejriwal to laalchi aadmi hai, Lok Sabha ki lalach me Delhi se bhag gaya ! Sameer, pahle batao ye Lok Sabha ki laalach kya chiz hai ? Kya Kejriwal soch liya tha Prime Minister ban jayega, do din ki purana party leke ? 272 ki upar seat mil jayega, ayse hi ? Jis ke liye ow CM ki kursi chhod diya ? Ow pagal hai kya ? No sir, but he expected to get about 40 seats ! What would he have done with 40 seats ? Mamta Bannerji also has around that no.s ! What she is doing ? Sameer, ask a peon to resign from his job and see ! This was the post of the CM of Delhi ! In our country people are ready to kill to become a CM, and the man who so casually threw it away you are calling him greedy ? No sir, but then why did he leave ? Tell me Sameer, is it needed to resign from the CMs post just to campaign ? No, it is not ! Actual story is different ! Then I explained to him the actual circumstances why Kejriwal resigned, because Congress & BJP were not allowing him to function and he thought as CM if he calls for dissolving the assembly, that will be done ! And in the reelection, his party will come back with full majority ! But Congress govt. at center didnt allow that then, and BJP is not allowing now ! Sir, if there is election now, AAP will not even get 8 seats ! Sameer, if that is so, why BJP is not going for the election ? They know that still people say, Modi for PM and Kejriwal for CM ! They still remember that when those honest people were in power, corruption level had gone down ! And they are ready to give him another chance ! Their MLAs have spent the MLA fund on the peoples wish by conducting hundreds of Mohalla Sabhas ! BJP knows that, and thats why they want to form a govt. with six Congress MLAs ! Only Modi is against that, because itll damage his image ! We had entered C R Park, and Sameer halted the car in front of my house ! He came down and opened my door and said, Sir, I had formed my opinion listening to the media ! Now you have made it clear to me ! Im a devote Muslim, and Im saying, that Ill vote for your Kejriwal ! By the grace of Allah, he will be successful ! When he drove away, I kept standing looking at his car ! All along I had thought that he was a Hindu fanatic !
