ON APC PRESIDENTIAL RUNNING MATE To avoid wrestling bouts of Royal Rumble magnitude in Aso Rock only a TECHNOCRAT should be picked as Buharis running mate. If you pick a politician especially the likes of Amaechi or Rochas, there will be constant clash on the rock. Buhari loves to delegate power, if you give him a person that will seek patronage with power, like a core politician would do, the whole essence of a Buhari presidency is defeated. Amaechi or Rochas is a NO, NO. Dont get me wrong, they are good in their own rights but not as VP to Buhari, they are pretentious populist, they will compromise the needed stern governance. Fashola and Fayemi work more like technorats as Governors than as politicians. Fashola may not be picked because of our religious sensitivity, Fayemi is okay but still have some political garbage to thrash. I think Prof. Yemi Osibajos choice is the best. A serious minded lawyer and business like. Will adequately complement Buhari strong willed desire. Those other candidates should be told that these are unusual times, otherwise a candidate Buhari would have been impossible. They should be willing to sacrifice personal ambitions for now or lose it all.
