(PLEASE SEE SUMMARY OF REPRESENTATION POSTED EARLIER AND PRESS REPORT APPEARED IN MEDIA ALL OVER THE WORLD I HAD POSTED EARLIER) 1. Since 1967 the baggage allowance were fixed as Rs 35,000 we requested to Narendra Modi government to increase proportionately with devaluation of Indian rupee. Any way it is increased from Rs 35,000 to Rs 45,000 2. A large number of blue collar non resident Indians can not afford to build a house in many places, so we requested to implement a affordable type of housing scheme all over India. The budget had allocated Rs 4000 crores for low cost housing, it will be beneficial for millions lower income non resident Indians working in GCC countreis. 3. Many NRI wish to start projects when they return back to India, government had introduced a scheme to support new entrepreneurs including NRI returnees. 4. We suggested to change our human resources profile as unskilled workers exporting countries to Skilled workers exporting country. In India also we need large number of skilled workers, so we request to introduce a massive skill development scheme. In the budget government had decided to introduce a skill development scheme it will give more quality jobs in India and abroad. . 4. The increase of tax exemption limit from Rs 2 lakh to Rs 2.5 laksh and increase 80c benefit from Rs one lakh rupees Rs 1.5. lakh are beneficial to NRI returnees. A senior citizen - person more than 60 years old - will get exemption of Rs 3 lakhs including 80C benefit he can earn tax free income of Rs. 4.5 lakhs. Most of the NRIs are returning back to India when they are 60 and above. So this increase will be great benefit for Indians returning from abroad.
