CATURAN ....CALVINISMS IS CALVINS human logic applying the Scriptures with twisting, stretching and bending the Scriptures to his rational and philosophical mindset.... ______________________________________ Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where in abounded, grace did much more abound: That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord. ROMANS 5:20-21 The living God is a gracious God noted explicitly after the fall of man when LORD God said:And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever; GENESIS 3:22 This means in a sense literally that man becomes like God to know what is good and evil: man is like God with the knowledge what is good and evil. Simply understood, man has knowledge about what is good in life; he knows as well that there is evil in this world. How does man have this ability? Evidently, God equips fallen man to have knowledge both what is good and what is evil in lifes existence. This is what Paul meant in Romans 1:18-23,[18] For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;[19] Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.[20] For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:[21] Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.[22] Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,[23] And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.[24] Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:[25] Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. Thus, men have no excuse to be saved because Gods manifold blessings of grace and goodness are still abounding even after the fall. It is indeed true that all sinners do not seek God but praise the LORD, His grace is abounding- where sins abound, as noted by the great apostle Paul, but then he exclaimed: ...But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound. ROMANS 5:20 O, the wonderful awesome gracious God of our salvation that is beyond our finite wisdom to comprehend. Like Paul I will sing in my soul,O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! ROMANS 11:33 Our salvation and physical and spiritual existence , including our faculty and ability to reason, perceive and apprehend things, our conscience, our minds and thoughts are all of GODS MANIFOLD GRACE AND GOODNESS. No way for man to be proud except for his self-will instead of DOING GODS WILL. Remember TITUS 2:11-15; TITUS 3:3-8; 1 CORINTHIANS 15:10; ROMANS 1:18-21 The greatest logician is God who created logic and the author of logic. ISAIAH 40:12-31; ISAIAH 1:18 The Logic of God is within the boundaries and confines of the preserved words of the LORD in the holy Scriptures. CALVINISMS IS CALVINS human logic applying the Scriptures with twisting, stretching and bending the Scriptures to his rational and philosophical mindset. Even the apostle Paul in Romans 12:1-3 appealed to reason, the mercies and the grace of God when writing to the New Testament believers of Rome in this manner:[1] I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.[2] And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.[3] For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.[4] For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:[5] So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.[6] Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;[7] Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;[8] Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness. In all of these considerations man has nothing to boast of but God. Paul was very clear about this matter when he wrote the New Testament believers in Corinth: That no flesh should glory in his presence. But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: That according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. 1 Corinthians 1:29-31 Again the apostle Paul exhorted the churches in Galatia this very striking counsel: [12] As many as desire to make a fair shew in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross of Christ.[13] For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.[14] But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.[15] For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.[16] And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.[17] From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.[18] Brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen. GALATIANS 6:12-18
