ON FATHER MBAKAS SPIRITUAL TANTRUM AGAINST GEJ: Thank you all for your contribution so far. Please note that I am not holding sway for the President nor am I defending ineptitude. I am not condemning a servant of the Most High God either, but making some valid observations that could help both his ministry and our people in general. I am only stating that there should be a cautious approach to issues that affect a nation like Nigeria that is fully heated and maximally polarized. This is a nation sitting on a keg of neutron bomb and not just TNT, which could both implode and explode without warning unless it is handled with utmost caution and prayer. I am saying that we need to be careful about how we utilize the authority of the pulpit, microphone and sacraments committed to our charge by God who will call us to accountability. I am stating that we should show people who throng after us how best to use words, such that our utterances will not become murder tools but instruments to enhance rebirth. I am stating that we must be very careful how we play to the gallery with our prophecies. When the first Lady is present, the Holy Spirit guarantees us that she and the husband will win, but when she is absent, we receive inspiration from migrating birds that are incapacitated in flight. This act of Revelation inconsistency may put a question mark on peoples hope in God who they know was the same yesterday,is the same today and will be the same forever. Furthermore, I feel that the pulpit platform is not a political matchmaker where we should arise to pontificate on who must be in the State house. Even Joshua when he called the people to a conference of decision in Joshua 24:15 made no impositions on Israel. He asked them to choose who they will serve. Yes the father has a right to warn against evil in the system where such exist, but in a balanced way. Subsequently he does not have the right to impose any choice because he had a mixed audience. I am not in any way attacking Father Mbaka.I am only openly pointing out issues that could have grave consequences on us as a nation and as a people. Remember that after Goodluck Azikiwe Ebele Jonathan there will still be Nigeria. If we are taught from the pulpit to call our leaders Badluck when their name is Goodluck then even Buhari,if he comes to power will become a laughing stock, not based on his demerit but based on sanctuary example laid within this dispensation prior to his ascendency. It makes sense that we should all pray more positively and prophesy less negatively for Nigeria. This is a plurality of people and a nation with very complex history that need to be handled with care and not with great indiscretion. May God save Nigeria.
