ON HAPPINESS. In a film of Charles Dickens novel, A Christmas Carol, in which Scrooge was played by Patrick Stewart. Scrooge stated, When happiness shows up, always give it a comfortable seat. Sometimes we might if we are lucky get just one chance at something, before the winds sweep it away and it is gone forever. Sometimes something comes along which can change everything in a blink of an eye. If that change comes, and you are by grace allowed a chance of happiness, take hold of it, for the saying above holds very true. Happiness is not something to be taken for granted, because in this hard, cold, cynical, twisted and ofttimes bitter world, with its falsity, insincerity and shattered and worn out dreams; genuine happiness, may only show her face briefly. But you will always have just enough time, if your wise enough and lucky enough, to catch her. If you get such an opportunity, dont let her slip away. Always make sure you offer her a comfortable seat, as she can disappear like a breeze and the chance of happiness may well vanish forever. ~
