ON HERITAGE I SPEAK : I have listened to government officials n Kara Heritage man Mathole Motshekga speaking of heritage. I also listened to other influencial leaders speaking on heritage. I MUST SAY THEY ALL DISAPPOINTED ME, BECAUSE INSTEAD OF ADDRESSING REAL HERITAGE ISSUES THEY ONLY ADDRESS SUPERFICIAL N MERE CULTURAL ISSUES. Ma-Afrika, how long will we be fooled? THE REAL HERITAGE ISSUES TO BE ADDRESSED R OUR LAND N ALL IT WEALTH LIKE MINERALS, PLANTS ( FOR MEDICINE, FRUITS, BUILDING,ETC), SOIL TO FARM N USE FOR OTHER PURPOSES, WATER N ALL LIVING CREATURES IN IT, OUR RIVERS, MOUNTAINS N NATURE AS A WHOLE. Are we- indegeneous ppl of this land ( Africans) control, n benefit from, them as we r their original owners? NO! A VERY BIG NO! They divert our focus to less important issues like traditional attire, traditional dance, etc. HOW LONG SHALL WE BE FOOLED, MA-AFRIKA? Our real heritage is currently owned n contolled by white settler minority in company with few capitalists Africans. I WILL NEVER EVER CELEBRATE HERITAGE DAY THE DAY WE - AFRICANS- REALLY OWN , CONTROL, N ALSO BENEFIT FROM, OUR LAND N ALL ITS WEALTH. Thank u PAC for having opened my eyes n mind to see the reality.
