ON MY HUMBLE MIND: TO MY LATE MOTHER CAROLINE AWURAA ABENA AWIAH TWUM. Special days such as todays mothers days give us nostalgic memories of you, my sweet mother Awura Abena Awiah. Its been almost 14 years when you were called into eternity. After many years of sacrificing to single handedly provide and educate us from your meagre income, you did not live long enough to admire and enjoy the fruits of your labour. You were and continue to be a great inspiration to motherhood and I am most privileged to be among others your love and affection so positively affected. There are thousands of things you did that made you so different and special. Time and space will not permit these to be listed. They are written in gold in our hearts. As a single mother you help make every one of us happier, stronger and wiser. You are our role model. We are grateful for all the times you helped healed our hurts and calmed our fears, so that we all could face the world feeling safe and secure. Im most thankful to you for showing how to love and give. These lessons bring so many blessings to us each and every day. Your sacrifices and unselfishness will never go unnoticed, we admire you, respect you and love you. We will always keep your love in our hearts forever for all you did for us. May the good Lord keep you in His bossom until we meet again. May his countenance shine upon you forever and may you continue to rest in perfect peace.
