ON THE REPORTS THAT @NYEREREMANOMA MIGHTY WANDERERS FC (AND THE OTHER CLUBS) ARE YET TO RECIEVE THEIR STANDARD BANK PRIZE MONEY. Well, The Football Association of Malawi has a clause that reads like prize money will be paid within 30 days after the final match The question is,why 30 days? and we have heard from the sponsors that FAM already received the prize money, what is FAM waiting for, or WHERE IS THE MONEY? Only FAM can answer that question. How about we remove that clause (30 days waiting) and replace it with a sponsor of any tournament should surrender the competitions prize money (and running funds/costs) to the competition committee before the competition begins or the day it is launched. However, the prize winners should claim it (from FAM or SULOM incase it is superleague) lets say within a week or so; considering security issues and what have you. It is crystal clear that most clubs in Malawi rely on this type of money to survive as they have no reliable source of sponsorship. Anyway, i trust FAM can not sink that low,can they?
