ON THIS BATTLEFIELD MAY GOD OUR HEAVENLY KING ARISE AND FIGHT OUR BATTLE FOR US ! Moses the servant of God wrote, The nations you will dispossess listen to those who practice sorcery or divination. But as for you, the LORD your God has not permitted you to do so... (Deut. 18:14 - 19; NIV). Prophet Isaiah also wrote, A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse; from his roots a Branch will bear fruit. The Spirit of the LORD will rest on him - the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of power, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD... In that day the Root of Jesse will stand as a banner for the peoples; the nations will rally to him, and his place of rest will be glorious. In that day the Lord will reach out his hand a second time to reclaim the remnant that is left of his people from Assyria, from Lower Egypt, from Upper Egypt, from Cush, from Elam, from Babylonia, from Hamath and from the islands of the sea. He will raise a banner for the nations and gather the exiles of Israel; he will assemble the scattered people of Judah from the four quarters of the earth (Isa. 11:1 - 12; NIV). ...Then will all your people be righteous and they will possess the land forever. They are the shoot I have planted, the work of my hands, for the display of my splendor. The least of you will become a thousand, the smallest a mighty nation. I am the LORD; in its time I will do this swiftly (Isa. 60:1 - 22; NIV). Jesus our kinsman-redeemer and prophet like Moses said, And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it... (Matt. 16:18 - 20; NIV). And this gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come... Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away (Matt. 24:14 - 35; NIV).
