ON THIS DAY IN BUCCANEER HISTORY Tampa Bay 23 Seattle 30 - Expansion Bowl II Steve Myer threw for four touchdown passes as the two 1976 expansion teams played a far better game than their penalty-stricken affair the previous season. Gary Huffs record-setting pass to Morris Owens tied the scores in the fourth quarter and was the longest pass play in team history at the time. The Bucs only scored four offensive touchdowns in the first 12 games of the 1977 season and half of them came in this game. The Bucs were only one point underdogs in this one.
