BIRTHS:||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| Hershel McGriff (born December 14, 1927) - four-time winner in NASCAR Grand National competition. McGriff was inducted into the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America in 2006. Howdy S. Holmes (born December 14, 1947, Ann Arbor, Michigan), - raced in the CART series for 7 seasons (1979-1980, 1982-1985, and 1988), with 72 career starts, including the Indianapolis 500 each of those years except 1980. He finished in the top ten 26 times, with his best finish in 2nd position in 1984 at Phoenix. He was the Indianapolis 500 Rookie of the year in 1979, with a 7th place finish. In 1978, he was the Formula Atlantic champion. Alan Dennis Kulwicki (December 14, 1954 – April 1, 1993), nicknamed Special K and the Polish Prince, he won his first race in 1988 at Phoenix International Raceway, and debuted what would become his trademark Polish Victory Lap. Kulwicki won the 1992 Winston Cup championship by what was then the closest margin in NASCAR history. He died early in 1993 in a light aircraft accident, and therefore never defended his championship. He has been inducted into numerous racing halls of fame and was named one of NASCARs 50 Greatest Drivers. Andy Hillenburg (Born: December 14, 1965 Home: Broken Arrow, OK - NOT BE CONFUSED WITh indy ANDY HILLENBURG born APRIL 30) - 1988 World of Outlaws ROTY, and 15th highest feature winner with 30 wins. Fabrizio Giovanardi (born 14 December 1966 in Sassuolo) - has won eight touring car titles, including European and British crowns. Cameron McLean (Born: December 14, 1967 Home: Brisbane, Queensland) - 2005 Australian Sports Sedan Champion, 1996 and 1998 Super Tourer Privateers’ Cup winner, 1999 V8SC Privateers Cup winner, 2004 Sandown 500 Runner up for SBR, driving with Russell Ingall and finished fourth in the Bathurst 1000 with Steven Johnson, driving for DJR.
