ONCE AGAIN, my beta readers are saving my dubious reputation for literacy. Every one of them is catching a multitude of sins of commission and omission -- and the remarkable thing is, very few are duplicates of those caught by others. It astonishes me how different sets of eyes, directed by different priorities and contexts, notice things that others dont. Ive spent another very long day incorporating fixes into the text of BAD DEEDS. And also addressing questions of plausibility here and there, such as where character motives arent clear or seem to contradict common sense. Ive gone back to do some rewriting, adding, and deleting in various passages, based on the observations of my sharp-eyed and sharp-witted friends. Thank you again, Betas!
